Hey Talk. Anyone else experiencing really long render times when trying to edit the HD Talk videos? Any recommendation on how to speed it up so I can at least edit before my final render?

I’ve been working on the business cards, but I’ve only received pictures + info from four people. I have a sneaking suspicion there are more… please send them my way! (edown@uoregon.edu)
Thank you, thank you.

Chris, Evan and I just had a great meeting with Stephanie Risborough, the SOJC accountant. We’re getting a kickstart on organizing our own finances.

AHA meeting… TONIGHT!
We will be talking with Dance Marathon promoters (and discussing their strategy). Should be an insightful little piece! We’ll also be welcoming a couple new members. -

where do we send our picture and info for the business cards again?

talk is looking for 3-4 people to do interviews and work a flip camera. easy job, applicants must be personable and a good fit for AHA, and have lots of time to learn and work. send your friends and wannabes this way, everybody! We need people power to make this account the most it can be.

To all new aha members: please notice the ‘androgynous ghost person’ to the left. I would love to make you an illustrated icon to take the ghost’s place, but I need (1) your favorite picture, (2) four interesting facts, (3) your contact info and (4) your job title. If you want me to choose a photo… friend me on facebook and I’ll find a good one.

I’ve been trying to upload my business card photo onto WordPress since last year and I still can’t figure it out! It’s set as my blog picture/icon and it shows in the URL bar next to the web address but it doesn’t show up on the site. Thoughts? Help? Thanks guys!

yeah- it works!
check out http://www.airbnb.com – you can rent out rooms or houses, and there are some available for next weekend if you search all of Oregon.

wowsers! this is a super data-visualization, much like we were toying with in talk. What do you guys think? Is this authentic interest, representing brand loyal consumers, or cheez? How about the fact that it’s porsche… -

New year of AHA, and so many new ideas! I wonder if our directors would be upset if they knew I was blogging during the AHA meeting…
Anyway, I’ve been working on Talk and I interviewed two students to add to the archive. The information from the interviewees was exactly what we are looking for to get U of O students Talking! I think Talk should consider some kind of a video introduction before each individual interview. You know, like an advertisement for our agency and/or clients! We do make advertisements right?

This one’s for sustainability from Kim Sheehan:
“I found these videos for a company using the tag line “the fun theory”. Similar to the T-Mobile dance video we watched in class, this video does a good job of entertaining the viewer without mentioning the brand until the very end. I think this company did a good job incorporating the brand’s values into the video’s message–but the company isn’t who you would expect. Here are the links. There are currently 3 videos out, but they are holding a contest to see if someone can think of a new idea for them to implement. All the information can be found at http://www.thefuntheory.com

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zSiHjMU-MUoI thought that one of these or all of these may be fun to add to the class blog. (My favorite is the piano stairs). Let me know what you think!”

That androgynous ghost picture I took really brings out my eyes.
